Each franchisee connects its own QuickBooks Online company for operational invoices, and the franchisor connects theirs for royalty and network billing — the intercompany royalty invoice posts to the franchisor's books with the franchisee as the customer. An entity map records how every Franexis record corresponds to its QuickBooks counterpart per connection, so retries and re-syncs stay idempotent instead of creating duplicates.
